Futureproof yourself by joining the “Talking About Tomorrow” community

The Future Exit Sign

  • Are you feeling overwhelmed with the pace of change?
  • Are you curious about what your life at work will be like five to ten years from now?
  • Are you looking for insights into how new technologies, changing social values, and new workplace designs will impact the way you work in the future?
  • Do you want to explore the future of work together with other smart, experienced people?

We all struggle to keep up with the frenetic pace of change in our lives and our work. It’s almost impossible to track all the developments that impact us, and yet we risk being blindsided by new technologies, changing social values and expectations, and new workplace designs.

If those issues and questions are important to you, I invite you to join the Talking About Tomorrow community (TAT).

Talking About Tomorrow is an active, voluntary community of smart, thoughtful people with diverse backgrounds who care about the future and want to explore it in conversation with others. The TAT community is a perfect example of the reality that “None of us is smarter than all of us.” When 20+ smart people combine and exchange their ideas, insights, and experiences, all of us are better prepared for confronting the increasingly uncertain future that we all face.

On September 11, Talking About Tomorrow will begin its sixth year of active conversations about the changing nature of work, the the workforce, technology, and the workplace. We meet once a month for an hour of conversation and inquiry into the forces that are impacting all of us.

Membership in the community is limited to 25 people to ensure that we have active, meaningful conversations. Now, in August 2017, we are opening the community up to a small number of new members.

Talking About Tomorrow 2017-2018: Program Overview

Participation in the TAT community offers you:

  • an opportunity to step out of your daily high-stress routine and explore actively with other smart people about how the future of work is evolving and could transform your business – and your life;
  • exposure to ideas and possibilities that are likely to produce major disruptions in the world of work;
  • access to the experiences and insights of other TAT members, both during the monthly open conversations and in between them; and
  • constructive relationships with other members of the community.

In short, membership in the TAT community offers you a powerful way to “futureproof” your organization as well as your personal understanding of what lies around the corner. We may not be able to predict the future, but we can prepare for it.

I hope you will want to be part of this growing community. For just a small investment and a commitment of an hour or two a month you can build a deep understanding of the forces at work that are changing our lives every day.
